Which parts of Queens does Silva's Painting serve?

We serve the whole borough from our Queens base. Whitestone, Bayside, Flushing, Douglaston and Forest Hills each have a page on this site, and we also work in Nassau County towns like Great Neck, Manhasset and Port Washington. If your neighborhood is not listed, call (718) 709-7000 and we will tell you right away whether we can help.

When is the best time to paint a house exterior in Queens?

Late spring to early fall gives a Queens exterior its best odds. Paint has to go on dry surfaces in temperatures the maker allows, so we steer around rainy stretches and cold, damp mornings. Interior painting works any time of year. Book exterior work early, because the warm months fill up fast.

How quickly can I get a painting estimate in Queens?

Within 24 hours, and it is free with no strings attached. Call (718) 709-7000 any day between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. We come out, look at the space, talk through colors and prep, and give you an honest picture of cost and timeline before you commit to anything.

Does an older Queens home need special prep before painting?

Often, yes. Pre-war houses and apartments in Queens commonly have cracked plaster, radiators and detailed trim that all take extra care. If the building predates 1978, older paint layers may contain lead, which calls for lead-safe work practices. We look at all of it during the walkthrough and write the right prep into your scope.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had Silva paint the exterior of our house two years ago, and were very pleased with the result. We therefore selected Silva to also paint all the woodwork throughout the interior of our house. That work was also done very well, and with the disruption minimized. (Work in most rooms was completed in one day so we were able to "reinhabit" the room after moving furniture away from the walls and have items covered by drop cloths.) The crew was courteous and efficient, and the cleanup was thorough. We highly recommend Silva painting,

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I meant to post this review earlier, but life gets in the way - you know what I mean!
After a basement renovation Silva’s came in for the painting job. There was no fuss, no muss! A few specific details were noted and taken care of.
The team, and there WAS a team, worked efficiently and neatly. And even though it was during the holiday season the job was completed in the time promised.
If you want a great job at a reasonable price and don’t want to worry about details— definitely call Silva’s!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lorenzo and his team painted the exterior of my Tudor in north Flushing. I was so pleased with the work done that I even recommended him to my neighbor, who also has a Tudor. He and his team were reliable, professional and detail oriented. The job done was quite exceptional and Lorenzo is a man who stands by his work.

Queens Is Our Home Base

Lorenzo's father, Carlos Alberto Silva, brought the family trade to New York City in 1985. Lorenzo is the fourth generation of painters in the family and has led the company since 2011. That matters in Queens, where pre-war co-ops, attached brick homes and wood frame houses sit a few blocks apart, and each needs a different approach.

We serve neighborhoods across the borough, including Flushing, Bayside, Whitestone, Douglaston and Forest Hills. If your neighborhood is not listed, call and ask.

Queens is home, but it is not the only place we work. We also paint homes, co-ops and businesses in Brooklyn, Manhattan, the Bronx and Westchester, and across Nassau County on Long Island. The same owner-led crew, careful prep and premium paints go with us wherever the job is.

Why Queens Homeowners Choose Silva's Painting

The Silva family has painted for four generations, and Lorenzo Silva has led the business since 2011. He is on every job, our crews are polite and clean, and we will not leave until you are happy with our work. From Queens we also travel east into Nassau County.
